Rules
1. Be on time, if you are late, slip in and don't draw attention to yourself.
2. Please be respectful to anyone in the classroom.
3. Please inform me if you are going to be without internet for more then a few days. This is mostly because I do not check the Vacation Board all that often.
4. I will post all assignments on the forum unless otherwise stated.
5. Please feel free to ask if you have any questions. I am here to help you understand this subject, so if you don't ask your questions, then I can't help you.
6. Since I have noticed that deadlines for assignments means rushing, there will be no due dates for each assignment. However, you must have all your work completed three days before quills are due.
7. Please post paragraph posts of at least four to five sentences.
8. Do not under any circumstance cheat. This is frowned upon and grounds for being dropped from class. It's not that hard to rephrase text.
Grading
I will be using the OWL and NEWT grading system. This is to ensure that everyone gets used to it by the time they take their tests. Just to remind everyone what it is, it is listed below.
- O (90-100%)
- E (80-89%)
- A (70-79%)
- P (60-69%)
- D (50-59%)
- T (0-49%)
Anything under an A is failing. If you feel like you are failing towards the end of the term, talk with me and I would be willing to give you some extra credit.
Course Plan
Lesson one (2 weeks)
We will begin the class by studying comets and meteors.
Lesson two (2 weeks)
We will turn our attention onto black holes this lesson.
Lesson three (2 weeks)
This lesson will spend studying galaxies.
Lesson four (2 weeks)
We will finish up the lessons by studying a surprise.
Final Exam (2 weeks)
